A fun introduction to using a sewing machine, perfect for beginners!
Students will work through the basics and obtain their Sewing Machine Licence, learning how to safely operate a sewing machine and practise essential beginner sewing skills.
Once they’ve learnt the basics, they’ll put their new skills into action by choosing from a selection of colourful fabrics and sewing three scrunchies of their own to take home.
This workshop is all about building confidence, independence and practical sewing skills while creating something they can actually wear and enjoy.
